As for space, unfortunately 4th Gen only has 8GB/32GB (no 16GB), so quite a difference. Maybe I should wait for 5th gen release.
I'd say get the 32gb, I thought the 8gb would be enough then wondered and got the 32gb instead. Without me even putting on any apps it turned out the tunes stored on my WMP and ITUNES already exceeded 8gb. I had no idea....apps of course take up even more space yet.
I would also second the advice to just go and get the ipod yourself: start saving now if you don't have the money outright or apply for a free interest fo x months credit card and pay off as much as you can each month until your paid up.
Its likely to get you a better deal that way then getting a really bland handset which is not worth the deal, I see these offers on the CPW and P4U and none have even seemed worth the deal, the handsets being very basic and the freebies just not being worth 24 months x £whatever the cost.0 -
Yeah I think you're right. Maybe I'll try and get some money together, and hold on for a month or so and see if the iPod Touch 5 comes out in the hope that the price of the iPod Touch 4 goes down. Then hopefully get a 32GB iPod Touch 4 for a reasonable price, and get a low-end but decent phone on a cheap contract.
Thanks everyone!0
