Can any one advise if you get a parking ticket and the colour of the car is incorrect on the details can the receiver of the ticket appeal?

Colour of the vehicle is not a statutory requirement, therefore if the colour is wrongly noted, it is not an appeal point.0

Colour of the car is not normally important. As long as the VRM (reg number) and make is correct then there is not normally grounds for appeal. However, there may be other issues with the PCN or signage. If you give a bit more info (location, PCN offence code ect), we may be able to advise you further.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. Thanks, It's the first ever time I have been given a ticket,I'm usually really sensible!
I was late finishing work so late to pick kids up, parked near the school (not really noticing on a single yellow line,) went to get 1st child 3:15 then have to wait in same yard for 2nd child in junior to finish at 3:30pm, went to car, warden said he had given me 5mins waiting time and as I had not returned had to give me the ticket, I asked where I am supposed to park as there are no other spaces near the school and was told to "find somewhere".
I read somewhere that if they get certain details on the ticket wrong, you can appeal, they have "grey" car when mine is very clearly "blue!"
I'd rather pay it sooner than later though so I don't have to pay double the amountofficial dfw nerd club member no 214

Post up the whole of the PCN, and someone will take a look at it for you, to see if it's correct. And forget the colour issue; it's a non-starter.0

If they get the make or model or colour or location wrong, you can often appeal successfully. The PCN must also tell you how to appeal. You contact the local council, state your case and include copies of any evidence such as a delivery note if you were unloading goods for delivery

An incorrect location kills off the PCN. As the colour is not an obligatory part of the PCN, if it's wrong, it isn't going to be a win on its own.0
