hi,would be grateful if someone would please check this logfile.kaspersky is telling me i have legal software that can be used by criminals(mightymagoo) it wont let me neutralize it,have ran malwarebytes and it picked up mightymagoo in registry keys,deleted it then ran a full malwarebytes scan, nothing detected.
i have ran cc cleaner as well.thank you to anyone who can help

Not spotted anything myself but I am only skimming through.

Not a fan of toolbars myself, you could dump Ask and Google ones - the Bing one seems to be uninstalled already.
If you do not use Windows Live Gallery, get rid of that too.
Norton online backup - I suppose you use it - if not dump that.
If you are stuck with IE, give Firefox a whirl.

Maybe try downloading and running Spybot blaster for good measure http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

thanks oneaday.dont use norton,thought i had deleted all connected with it both manually and with norton removal tool.
i use bing as a search engine but dont have the full tool bar.
will try your other advice tomorrow thanks for the links.
just cant get kaspersky sorted, it still telling me legal software detected that can be used by criminals to damage computer and access data. i reckon i have my grandson to thank for that.he plays his games on my laptop. thanks again

which files is it reporting? If it's in system restore area, turn off system restore, then turn back on again

create a kaspersky boot cd to do a boot time scan (after updating)

thanks closed.a small box pops up from taskbar from time to time warning me about the detected legal software advising me to neutralize it. it only pops up for seconds so cant tell which files it is reporting if i am quick enough to click on neutralize nothing happens.
if i click onto kaspersky it says at the top it has 'detected legal software that that can be used by criminals for damaging your computer or personal data' it has the fix now next to it, when i click the box nothing happens.
i cant find any trace of it as active,quarantined or neutralized but the status still tells me about the detected legal software.
will follow all advice given after the weekend,thanks
