Could you perhaps be a little clearer it's a bit hard to understand what you're asking there.0

It's perfectly clear. Stop being stupid.
You should send them an e-mail giving them 14 days to refund you. They're a notoriously shady company.
Really, you should have put your cancellation in writing, but as it's too late now...
Phone your bank, and advise them that this transaction was unauthorised, and that Yes Loans have fraudulently kept (and subsequently used) your card details. Tell the bank that you cancelled before any service was used and before any payment was due, and you withdrew consent for them to use your card details, but they went against this.0 -
Looks like nothing changes http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/12001841
Try contacting your bank first, as it is a unauthorised withdrawal, hopefully your bank will concur. If not then you are going to have to write to Yes Loans and complain, mention you will complain to the financial ombudsman if you are not refunded within 14 days."The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

Hard to understand?
The OP applied for a loan and arranged to pay the fee for this today (Friday)
"I recently applied with yes loans last Saturday but told them I would pay there fee this Friday"
They changed their mind before the loan was paid (as is their legal right for a financial contract) and informed Yes loans of this on Wednsday.
"but on Wednesday I rang them and cancelled it"
Despite the loan being cancelled, Yes loans still took money from the OP and they want to know how to get this refunded.
"they have taken the money anyway I have tried to ring them but they keep cutting me of, can I report this and get my money back ?"
Is there really anything that's hard to understand?0 -
Looks like that user has received the ban hammer.0

marylikesmoney,
Was the money taken the full fee that was agreed upon?
Although you have the right to cancel financial agreements, the company concerned is entitled to charge you a reasonable fee to cover any costs that they have incurred so the payment could be for this.
Another reason might be that if you contacted them on Wednesday, they might not have had enough time to arrange for the payment to be cancelled if it was done via a direct debit.0 -

Yes Loans use a debit card payment system (and have probably already set up a continuous authority)
They do no 'work' until they receive a fee either, so they wouldn't be able to claim any losses.
They notoriously cold call people who have been turned down for a loan, guarantee these people a loan, charge a brokerage fee, and then never come up with the goods.0 -
Mary, it looks like you have to send a letter requesting a refund. It would be best to do this by recorded delivery and make sure you keep a copy of the letter as well as the proof of delivery.
