Yehh... right.
Actually more than three years ago.
I don't recall being all that fussed about it.
Of course I could dig out old bank statements, make a couple of calculations and advise you of what my rent increase was more than 3 years ago.
And then of course that would prove............erm what exactly? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Seriously. What? Whats the point? You guys appear to consider it singularly important.
You seem quite investing IYAO. Lets hear it.
Lets find out how the earthshattering news that I had a nominal rent increase more than three years ago utterly and forever more changes the ongoing topography

As you claimed to be mid-thirties 2 years ago, I can only assume you were a graduate for a very long time. But as always, you're very careful not to divulge too much information.

I've as good as told you C. You just couldn't work out the elaborate davini code like clues. Which it wasn't.
Of course its nothing to do with the fact that it winds you up, causes you to spin your wheels in humorous fashion, and regularly embarass yourself in your attempts to create conflagirations out of non issues.
Anyway, as you have neatly slid of your previous erm "point" I'm guessing you now accept that mid thirties can indeed last more than 2 years yes. :rotfl:
Guess what Clownbumbles, en route to professional qualifications, being a graduate can and does last more than 2 years too.We can only wonder how you got to be mid thirties without ever being in a position to buy when houses were dirt cheap and mortgages easily obtainable. :rotfl:
Though of course, putting aside the fact that your assesment is bobbins, I have previously made a point of telling you exactly the reasoning behind my decision making properties on homes and housing from childhood onwards.
It was rather entertaining as I recall, because despite a long running multi-year obsession with my personal position, neither you or your pals were able to find much traction in it.
No doubt why its slipped your mind eh.0 -
Excellent news for renters.
According to LSL property services rents have risen by only a few quid in the last few years.
Appying the Bullish principle of selecting two arbitrary points and ignoring everything thats happened inbetween, we can safely conclude the rents have not only stagnated, but seen significant real term falls.
Don't tell the house price bulls rents are actually falling in real terms. They think house prices and rent will actually go up from here, even when interest rates go back up.0 -

Well that's fine if they are.
No doubt all the tenants will be able to afford them. And it's fine and dandy seeing as my debt isn't increasing either.
A win:win for landlord and tenant it seems.
Presumably the fact that a landlord is happy with this state of affairs will mean you have to change your view? You shouldn't be seen to be on "our" side!

What your looking at is revenue.
What are landlords profits doing in "real terms"?
When you consider the reduction in interest paid on BTL mortgages, in "real terms" their profit is up:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

The big cuts for LHA have been postponed. When they eventually can not be postponed anymore get ready for some big demographic movements as people are forced to move away from expensive areas.0 -

No wonder, your talking to yourself again, you're bound to be in agreement with yourself...........
It's like your angels are both sitting on one shoulder instead of giving you a balanced view

'rents essentially unchanged, apart from mine which went up, and I'm not saying how much by.' would make a better thread title.
It would be up there with 'All edinburgh stats showing any increases or peaks are statitical anomalies'
or 'Why I like renting'.0 -

Actually lite, I was talking to the same people I addressed in my previous post.
Y'know, the ones who suddenly decided they'd lost interest in their absolutely critical line of interogation.0
