Anyone increased FD credit limit?

    I actually sent an e-mail to confirm with FD the balance transfer policy and I was told that you can transfer 1 card balance for free. Anyt other balance transfers, even from different cards, will have a 2% (no max) charge applied.

    Thanks for info - I had already done 2 transfers without charge or any mention of one, so very surprised about this one. Still, have done quite well from stoozing; spose I can't win 'em all, but have had acknowledgement of my email to them with promise of follow up. Perhaps they'll take pity (wishful thinking).
  • Applied on line - no instant decision, said they would get back to me within 24 hours - guess that will be a no then.

    Yippee - FD cancelled the charge as a gesture of goodwill 'cos they hadn't told me about it. Apparently I was a couple of days over the 6 months deadline from opening account for free BTs.
