After reading your excellent posts on here, i decided to try for the botanics offer at a large boots in Bury St Edmunds.
This is what i got....
Picked up magazine, stepped outside and cut out botanics voucher, went back in and got botanics wipes for £2.99 and received the face renewal cream worth £6.99 for free, and also 100 points. Then i registered for the prescription service and claimed my 250 points. Then i bought the waffle buffer for £1.50 and got the body butter at £5.00 free.
Then i claimed my free no 7 serum worth £16 with parenting voucher and also 2 free disposable cameras also with parenting voucher(these were bogof). I worked out that in total about £40 worth of products for 0.71p.
So a huge thank you to everyone who posts on here

You know, you could be onto something there. I have never been to a No 7 counter before in my life. I have always loved getting a bargain on make up/toilettries/hair products so avoided any specific brands and just looked out for good deals instead. But now, well, little old No 7 have got me (almost) hooked. I have to admit I love some of the things I have got over the last few days, so maybe in future a little voice in head will say "oh go on, buy No7, you know you like it".???
On second thoughts, if I am not getting 3 items for £1 maybe that little voice will be told where to go :rotfl:2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0 -

The thing is, we are in the minority. For every one of us, there are hundreds who go in, buy what they want and take no notice of the offers! Boots use these promotions to get people to come back to the store (after all you only get the No7/hair voucher when you have ALREADY purchased £5 worth). It seems to me that some SA's are more concerned about Boots profits than the people at HQ who are paid to deal with the profits!0

I have a pile of Boots Cold and flu 100 extra advantage points from the magazine. I have stocked up on BOGOF lozenges and lempsip type scahets but there is only so many of these that you need. As it is my daughters goody bag is going to look very odd! The weather is turning nasty up there where she lives so she might have a cold by Saturday, you never know!:rotfl:
Is there anything else I can spend about £1 on to get another 100 points?
Mary
if you buy a botanics soap bar for 99p and you have a boots mag in the back is a coupon for 100 points but the bonus is botanics counter has a sign saying if you buy a botanics product you can have a botanics moisuriser free which can cost £6.99 so not only do you get your 100 points for a 99p spend you also get a free mosturiser tooThe average woman would rather have beauty than brains,

Did my good deed of the day today - saw two women buying the botanics face wash/cream packs form the sale (£8 down to two) and told them to grab a moisturiser each. They could thank me enough when they paid the £2.00 and got the £5.99 face cream for nowt.
Shows how many people just miss out without the help of MSE.
There does appear to be restocking overnight as there was actually more today than yesterday - got more Totes toasties and some glitter babes bits. Also had the projection alarm clocks for £3.75 (from £15).
My store still has the Daniele Ryman at 75% but its a great deal so I got a few bits. Not all of it went through at the discount, but they overrode the price without question.
Bagpuss hot water bottle cover still £15.00 and would not reduce them.
Definitely worth my daily visit to check on new stock.0 -

Hi
There is a really nice SA who are on the tills at the back of the shop long dark hair chinese(i think)
she has put several things through for me(all depends who is next to her on the till lol)
she will go out of her way to help shes often just given me another no7 voucher even if im about 20p off from spending a £5
But like i said if there a lady with short blonde hair next to her with a stern look then beware and dont go to the no7 counter because the lady with long red hair knows what you can and cant have so wont even try0 -
mrsw wrote:Just back from Bootsing. Staines Boots has loads of H&B magazines, and they now have the Botanics body bar back in stock. Result! Bought one and got the Night Shift moisturiser worth £5.99 free.
They also had one last mango delirium gift set left. The box was slightly battered so it had a clearance price sticker for £10. But it went through the till for £5. Anyone know what the full price for this gift set was?
The male SA was gobsmacked that my total purchases came to 5.99. For some reason, the till didn't prompt him to give me a £5 no7 voucher, so I had to ask for one.
i brought the delirium set and it was originally £20 before sale in fact i saw one in superdrug for the original price 10 mins after buying mine what a bargain :j :jThe average woman would rather have beauty than brains,
