That's interesting Quackers. Do you mind telling us which store?

In Mine (Lincoln) emptied sale shelves were today being used to put out sun creams.

    No probs - Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.

But please dont get there before me :rotfl:

    Hi,

I went to Boots today. Got 2 No7 giftsets. I wanted to pay by points, and used my £5 voucher. The SA tried the voucher, it didn't work unfortunately. And the worst is I can't pay by points for the sale items there. So I paid by my card. At that time, I didn't want them at all. But felt guilty of leaving the till with nothing as long waiting people behind me.

Do you think I can return the no7 giftsets back to the store? I read at the back of the reciept that no return for cosmetics. I confuse whether that includes any cosmetic giftset.

    Many thanks.

does any one know if there are any items in the 75% sale in any bristol stores left

Today I went to Boots Clifton Down Shopping Centre, Whiteladies Road. There are more than 100 giftsets left, No7, FCUK, etc. But not look so fab. Spent £11.50 for £34.50. But felt bad as I can't use my points to pay. Don't know why.

For your info, Bristol Queens Road also has some socks, gloves, and slippers left.

I will go to Bristol Broadmead tomorrow. Hope might get some good bargain. Will update tomorrow afternoon.

Don't know if I might end up regretting this ;) but my local Boots had several of the £50 No 7 box set thingys left today. I will check again tomorrow but if anyone has missed out and really wants one, I will be happy to get one for you. Not sure what the postage would be on something like this but I could find out.

Went to Scunthorpe Boots today, all the sale stuff said half price. I noticed a large Botanics gift set I wanted but I wasn't going to pay half price for it.

I asked a MOS why their items weren't 75% off like all other Boots, she said that they were but she didn't know why the half price signs were still on the shelves instead.

When I went to pick up the Botanics Gift set someone who had been ear wigging got it before me.

yay someone else from scunny! :D

SA i spoke to said they hadn't been sent the 75% POS (thats point-of-sale aka posters n stuff), hence all still marked at 50%. Didn't see the Botanics sets though *hrmph* although got the last mediteranean soap set for £1.25, a set of mini nail varnishes for £1.25 and a Gilette Mach 3 set for £2.50 (not that the boyfriend uses expensive refills razors, but eh ;))

There are signs up in two of my local Boots advertising the Botanics offer, but you have to look for the cheaper items - not near the signs - I wonder why??:rotfl:

so do you pick up the cheap item and give it to the SA first then give her the free thing afterwards and does it work on most things
    Thanks for your help
