On here recently someone recommended the No7 eye make up remover as a good buy with the £5 off voucher. If you buy it BEWARE, if it's the blue coloured one -I accidently spilt some on my cream bedroom carpet and IT STAINS! I rang CS and they said they would only compensate if I needed a new carpet through my insurance company!! It wasn't worth it for a couple of small marks (they have gradually faded after several goes with Vanish) but I was a bit disappointed they wouldn't even pay for the Vanish.
Anyway, why are they putting blue dye in eye make up remover?? I didn't like it - it left a greasy residue, I've got sensitive eyes so I've gone back to using Simple - Half price (under £2) in Superdrug!
Had a good morning at the Sale - and the AC machine was giving me 75 points on a £10 spend ,so printed 3 and split it into sep, transactions, so don't forget to check AC machine in the rush to get bargains!!0 -
I spent just over 40 pounds and saved 126 pounds!! My DH came with me which was fortunate as I had 4 huge bags to carry!! Absolutely loads of stuff left in my local store (Wakefield). May be tempted to go back in again this week. This is some of what I got:
2 x Botanics sets in fabric toiletry bags (gorgeous) 3.75 each (didn't realise that the free moisturiser may have worked with these!)
2 x mens gillette travel shaving sets 1.24 each
1 x FCUK handbag toiletry gift set 3.00
1 x Karmatherapy toiletry set 3.75
2 x Noddy backpack with sweets 0.99 each
2 x Aromatic Mens' toiletry sets 1.75 each
1 x Badedas deluxe vanity bag set 3.00 (gorgeous brown suede effect bag)
1 x Trevor Sorbie Blonde shampoo/conditioner/spray set 3.00
2 x Boots No. 7 party purse 3.00 each
1 x Talking Spiderman alarm clock 2.50
phew! I think that covers the main part of my shop!! That should be Mother's day/Birthdays covered for the most part. Also got more of the Botanics shaving gel 1.37 and free men's intense moisturing creme (in box) worth 8.49 free.0 -
Hardly any sale stuff left in Haverfordwest. The shelves are bare!Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0

Got the SA to split the amounts so got No7 & haircare vouchers. THEN...BARGAIN OF THE DAY!!!...found some 250ml bottles of Mark Hill conditioner for £1.83 each! So got 4 of those with 2 of my haircare vouchers and got them for 33p a bottle :j :j :j the SA couldn't believe the price, checked the shelf with me, and all the other conditioners for Mark Hill were £4.49 each. She said grab them while I can as she's sure they're marked wrong. Well pleased!Got some No7 goodies for Xmas/Birthday boxes with No7 vouchers but saved one for the 31st Jan!
Definitely worth being late for.... (well, missingmy lecture!). Us penniless students need to get bargains where possible.
