You could have got another No.7 item at £5.50 and still just paid 50p, 342 would have worked. (Or wipes at £6 and paid £1).:T

Exactly right - the BOGOF apparently only applies to straight sun stuff & not self-tan (as your rightly say, they classify that as make-up!).
I did quite a few today, combining 'BOGOF' & '3 for 2' - I did 2 x hair spritz & a nail varnish; 2 x sun shimmer & an Age Rewind foundation (also has 200 points offer from the machine + a free skincare gift); 2 x sun moisturiser & another nail varnish. So glitch must still be going through the tills OK.
I found a nice young male SA who obviously had a life outside of Boots - yi ha!!! So also got a few Botanics link sales.
However, in a smaller store things were very different - they'd taken all the No 7 sun care off the shelves, nearly all the Botanics, hidden the magazines & even taken the SEL's off for the hair care items that were under £4 - how pathetic can you get? They even tried to tell me the voucher offer had expired until I showed them the date on another one I had in my purse!

Hiya sounds like fun! what is the hair spritz please I couldn't find any hair stuff under £4 so bought something without a lid reduced to £3

I love all this boots & tesco lark!

My problem is when the SA says nooo..... won't even try to put coupons through 'because it's a gift set'

Nice lady today gave me tips on what to buy - as long as she's paid and can get the same bargains she's happy. Excellent attitude :T

I go every lunchtime at the moment as I'm getting my £2.99 lunch deal on the point I earn each day (including 100 extra botanics points)

don't forget the 60p off coupon from the change one thing eating pack (blue) available in all stores off shapers sarnies. I get mayo and they cost £1.10 before the discount. I use one every time I go in.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the cheaper Botanics product have gone up in price. I'm quite new to all this but I'm sure the aftershave has gone up to £3.xx from £2.xx and also the body waffly thingy that was £1.25 and is not £3xx. Still having a good time with it all though. OH is now getting the deodorant instead of aftershave.
This is a bit of a weird one, I did notice the body bar was priced at £2 on the shelf, but goes through the till at 99p still, perhaps they are trying to put you off buying it just for the points and gift;)

Having shopped in 4 Boots today (how addicted am I??). Due to only having 15 mins at lunch and running 15 mins to get to nearest Boots in the first place(oh and a total of 45 mins fo lunch), somehow had a panic and got my sums wrong so asked SA to cancel my tranaction, when I put it back I though oh dear that was right so joined queue again. Got 2 x NO7 lip and eye protector stick things and finally the purple bag with tassles. Paid £1.50 after the NO7 voucher but the 250 points from inside the bag wouldn't go through. She tried a couple of time. Had to speak to her for ages before I got my 250 points voucher back as she ended up reading the part of my receipt that said I had used my dble points voucher once. Arghh. Anyone else had problems getting their 250 points voucher added?

2nd Boots just paid 99p fo some shampoo after using £3 haircare voucher.

3rd boots got a reduced NO7 gift set £2 (I didn't really even want it but wanted my 250 points) and tried once again to use the 250 Points voucher but once again it didn't go on. So fed up by this point! Again had to ask for it back, manager said due to it being reduced and gift set was once a free gift when buying no7 product it didn't go through.. bla bla bla (wasting valueable time for me getting to next Boots), but I nearly ran out without my Boots card. That would have been bad!!!

4th Boots - security guy was lurking about me for ages! Was getting a bit annoyed but I just continued to hunt for bargains. Brought the Boots alternative indigestion tablets for £1.49 and used my 300 points voucher from purple bag with tassles. Finally it added on ok!

    What a stressful Bootsing day...
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
    Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)
  • Been today and tried the 342 an BOGOF offer on suncare, it worked!!!!! I was truly amazed. I got lip protector and hair spritzer for £5.50 each on BOGOF (although no signs in shop to back this up) and a nail varnish for £6 with £5 No7 voucher off - altogether a brilliant bargain I thought. Don't know if I have the nerve to do it again tomorrow though!!!!!

The Glossy Locks Hair Spritz is in a yellow box, part of No.7 sun protection. It's to protect your hair from sun, sea and chlorine. So it's part of the suncare No.7 BOGOF, use your £5 voucher.

I used my £3 haircare voucher on Lee Stafford shampoo at £3.99, paid 99p.

    Hope this helps.:j :D
