stovies in the slow cooker? anyone tried?

I bring everything to the boil (whatever meat it is) and then tip into my slow cooker. They stay firm then but seem to all cook at the same time. I used chicken & haggis to make stovies for my wedding - it went down a storm.0

Mmm Stovies! I have always done mine with leftover beef but we were at a wedding last Friday in a posh hotel near Falkirk and the stovies at night were amazing...they were made with chicken, beef,tatties,onions, sausages, mushrooms and lots of gravy.0
