Ooops. I mistook the gingery belly for a slight touch of the torties.
Well, they're the most successful type of cat around, tabby. They're well in touch with their original instincts. So try not to worry.
[whispers] and I raised my first cat, Spice and the current Glorious Leader, HRH Meep, from about 5 weeks old.......I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Not having a good day with my two - going to be "one of those days" - they're currently engaged in a battle of wills outside:(.
I wish she'd calm down a bit - she's an angel with people & the dog (most of the time) but just seems to hate other cats.:(Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000

Do you think she's hating other cats because she's pregnant? Our neighbour's poor little kitten got pregnant - this tiny thing with this huge belly.Anyway, she was fine before, but began to hiss at cats that came near her. Again, after she'd had them she calmed down.
Lucy looks very sweet.
Oh sorry, just realised you weren't the OP!"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
Oh Lucy hates the other 2 female cats that my daughter has - they are all about same age but Fiona and Phoebe are obviously neutered.. Lucy hisses at them all the time - may be because of the hormones poor thing.....
Fiona is VERY curios and really tries to make friends with Lucy but Lucy hisses at her all the time. Phoebe tried for the first 3 days but gave up now and ignoring Lucy completely.0 -

She was neutered at 4 months (had to have anesthetic due to hurting her leg so it was done while she was under to save her undergoing another one in a few weeks) so def not pregnant.
I've had her since she was 3 1/2 weeks old (long story) so she was hand reared and she's unfortunately always been like this.
However, my boy was also hand reared from 4 1/2 weeks (another long story) in exactly the same way so it's obviously down to her nature not this.
Re not being the OP, I'm honestly not trying to hijack Gettingready's thread (and I think she'll "know" me well enough by now to know that) it was really that I would love to give Lucy a home if I knew my tortie would tolerate another cat in the house.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I wasn't having a go, I just got confused."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
I've got a multi coloured tabby/tortie female, a black female, a NFC cross male and a grey ginger tortie/white female, so if you have in interesting coloured male, maybe I could be tempted... lol!Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0

Don't, I've already looked on the map to see where Lucy is and how I could get there....Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0
