She's a gorgeous wee thing (with a pretty big belly!). So glad she's safe for now and can have her babies somewhere warm and being well fed.
Were any of the rescue's willing to put her & babies on a waiting list? (Hopefully they may have room by the time they're born)
I know the rescues do their best but think some of them really need to re-think their rehoming rules - I know loads of people who desperately want cats/dogs and could offer really good homes but don't meet the strict & "can't be bent a little" rules that many of them now have.:(
Gorgeous little kitty!...She's landed on her paws & now will have safe shelter & care, well done on taking her in.
RFTA,I'm watching an episode of Animal Cops Philly where they raided a cat shelter with hundreds of sick & dead cats. The owner has been charged with 500 counts of animal cruelty,7 felonies & been billed for over $300k....Watching the care & emotion that the animal rescue people put into the operation & imagining the expense not just financial but man hours,It beggars belief how ignorant & uncaring some of our larger animal rescue charities are in relation to the animals they say they care for...
EDIT;
Just looked up the case..27 years probation,$212k fines & 2 years house arrest plus banned from having any contact with animals...

Well, went to my daughter's today to see the kitty, we called her Lucy..... LOL
She is the sweetest tille wee thing, wants cuddles all the time, likes people and runs to anyone that calls her....
She terrorises my daughter's 2 female cats (Phoebe and Fiona) which are about the same age.. she hisses at them whenever they try to get near her - she sleeps on my daughter's bed, my daughter and her b/f made her a nice box with blankets inside - hopefullu she will have the kitties there....
Wish we had some idea how far is she gone? She is really tiney just very round belly... Hmmmmm Will see0 -
Can you feel the kittens wriggling, can you see them moving? When the cat has quickening, she is onwards of 7 weeks. When she is getting near she should start digging in boxes and small areas (although some don't!)0

Only had her since Friday ....and she is at my daughter's so I am not feeling her that much - she is very friendly and wants cuddles all the time but still do nto want to stress her.
My daughter said that yesterday they could actually see something pushing the skin on her belly out, like a led or something....
Just glad she is not out there in a garden as she was poor thing...0 -
So glad she's safe for now - she seems to be making herself very comfortable!
Spike that's a horrific story, I didn't see that one (am an avid Animal planet viewer), glad they got him ......Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -
As you can see the movement and by the look of her it is not long now. It could be as much as a fortnight, but I doubt it, looking at her. It is lovely when they sit on your knee and you can feel the kittens wriggling!0

Spike - there is a lot of lovely videos on youtube about Caboodle Ranch for cats (just run a search on youtube) like this one:

So again.. sigh.....0 -
I wish I lived closer! She is almost ready to pop looking at her, good luck!Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0

Lucy today...0

You can just about see one of her ears has the very tip missing, like a letter "V" - she must have been in a fight before my daughter took her in, poor little thing....
Went to see her today, she is all purring for cuddles and hissing at my daughter's 2 other female cats (about same age as her but of course spayed) - she is lovely.....0
