Oh you and your daughter must be lovely people.
You've saved this poor little mite and her babies from goodness knows what.
Such a lovely end to my day seeing Lucy and her babies.
She looks like she's going to be a good mum too.
Keep posting the photos, they're so heartwarming to see and we'll all be able to watch Lucy and her babies as they grow.0 -

Well done. I would love to take Lucy on myself, but unfortunatley I cant as my dog isnt good with cats. Im sure all the kittens will get good homes.

Awwwww, they are gorgeous!:D
Congratulations to Lucy and her new family - it's amazing how they just take to motherhood, and especially with her just being a babe herself.
Look forward to lots of pics as they grow!:DGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Oh wow, 6 babies and she is only tiny herself! Well done Lucy.
GR.....I don't want to teach grandma to suck eggs....:D....but this really is a large litter with an increased risk to kittens as a result.
Does your daughter have a small set of digital scales so that she can weigh the babies each day to make sure they are all gaining weight properly? ( should be about 10g a day at this stage) Checking their weight like this each day enables you to spot quickly if there are any issues with a runt, or one not thriving. I would also advise your daughter to get hold of some Cimicat or similar from the vet ( not regular cat milk) in case any of them needs top up feeding.
Lucy will of course be eating absolute mountains of food to provide enough milk for that gang!0
