  • Hey everyone,

I have my M&S interview on Friday at Bluewater, really nervous hearing about all this role play talk!

To anyone who has ever had an interview with M&S ... did they ask you all the normal questions such as, why did you leave your last job? why do you want to work here? etc.

    Thanks for any feedback!

    Good news!
The interview went really well and I got the job.
Thanks a lot guys for all your help & reassurances:kisses3:

It was the work meeting/buffet scenario that I had to do the role play in.
The M&S staff were absolutely lovely, it seems like it will be a nice place to work.

They asked the normal interview questions, why do you want to work for M&S, what you feel is good customer service, etc

I've got one coming up tomorrow - two questions: what is the 'work meeting' scenario?
And I'm really concerned about the humous roleplay that was mentioned - is that sort of thing likely to happen? I know my way round my local store (roughly) but I wouldn't know where every single item was by any means! Surely they can't expect you to already know without any training???? :o

starry you dont have to know that. you dont do it in store. you get a table with sheets representing good which you pick and suggest to customer which items are suitable fot the work buffet etc.. dont forget to mention online ordering. tho personally once I forgot as it would never occur to me to order fresh food on the net where you cant see it first etc.. M&S are very hot on and love their food ordering online service.
