Beware of VOIP using SIP Trunk Lines

One of the bigger SIP telecoms companies, VoiceFlex have had 2 lengthy outages have occured within the last 12 months. During that time their customers couldn't make or receive calls. They blamed a backup generator last time when they had a power outage in London Docklands.
The latest warning to Voiceflex dealers says;
"Voiceflex will be performing urgent Maintenance work commencing 0400 BST on Saturday 17 September at our Telehouse North Data Centre. These works will involve changes to our core systems and will result in a brief service outage to all our voice services during the maintenance window.
All services are expected to be restored before 0500 BST on Saturday 17 September."
Think twice before picking SIP trunks!
