Registered just to let you guys (or girls!) know how to fix this validation issue.

When clicking the link in your email you'll be directed to a page where you enter your details however the verification id is omitted. This is due to the link in the email not linking you to the secure page (https rather than http).

The workaround is simple. If your browser allows you to then right click on the "Claim Your Prize!" link in the email and select "Copy link address" or "Copy link location". Open a new tab in your browser and paste the address into the address bar. Change "http" at the beginning of the address to include an s, "https". Your link should now look similar to:

https:// dietcokekarllagerfeld-limitededition . com/en/winners.php?id=<verificationCode>

where <verificationCode> is your specific alpha-numeric code for verification i.e. 0c3t5443bg342423df. You can now fill out your details and submit. (Note: there should be no spaces in the link - I simply had to include them to get around the spam filter for newly registered accounts).

This works in Google Chrome as I submitted it on behalf of my girlfriend. I also quickly tested with Firefox and it works with that too.

Has anyone that thinks that they won on this, not received an email? I know that on more than one occasion I was comfortably on the leaderboard at midnight, but I haven't heard anything from them?

Yes, me and my friend both think that. I actually watched my friend get a score of 22 seconds so i'm sure she should be on the list.

Got my WEM today and I stopped playing fairly early on so it looks like they're slowly working through the winners list.

They've made a right balls-up of this promotion.

- email sent from an unknown address, consequently its filtered out by most junk filters (including hotmail).
- they've had to forward http connections to https, as the email they sent out was wrong.
- the claim page doesn't display in firefox 7 at all; I had to use IE.

I only got my WEM today and I last played a few weeks ago so they must still be working through the winners lists. Fingers crossed for a few more MSErs!
