Coming out @ £500 return for 4 of us - which is cheapish I guess for summer flights.

But methinks I will try and use up some airmiles instead, got quite a few sitting in the account thanks to my good friends Mr Yali and Mr T

Just booked for myself & 3 kids on Airmiles - free :cool::rotfl::cool::rotfl::cool: (or nearly free! Actually I think I averaged £26 each way on the Yali trail and usually get to 750 Airmiles for under £40.)

IMPORTANT!

Airmiles changes to Avios on 16 Nov and there will be a new return cost of £27 to cover taxes http://www.airmiles.co.uk/avios/details

Some destinations are moving to a cheaper zone (eg Prague will now be zone 1 not zone 2) - but I managed to google up a list of the changes and my destination is staying the same, so worth saving the taxes ie for my 4 flights I just saved £108 (in taxes).

Have to say Llareggub was always my experience, and even DD's Headteacher requested to LA to end term early 'cos he said the last few days in summer were a waste of time. To be honest, I even used to resent the petrol to get her there for the last two days just so she could watch DVDs or something. Go on, be a devil.

Prices for us were brill, this year I paid just over £100 a head which was a good price for July, but I've just got flights for about £75 each. Thank you, now I can look forward to it.

All these destinations are moving from 1500 Airmiles to 9000 Avios (=900 Airmiles) so probably best to pay the £27 and wait for the changes:

I chanced it & pinched 2 days, giving us an extra 4 days holiday

£75 was excellent if that's return not one way - best I could see for us was £125.

Hi had the email first thing this morning. If you clicked on the link in the email all the july/august dates were available but if you didn't and just went on the easyjet website normally they weren't just went up to june, this was about 8am........strange.
Any managed to get flights for the 7 of us to alicante for £470 all in. Bargain.
Wanted valencia because its a bit nearer to the villa but for the sake of an extra 15 mins drive and saving £300 we went with alicante:j:j:j:j:j:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Thanks so much - have been checking the site daily for ages for these flights. Booked 5 of us from Newcastle to Majorca (means a drive down from Edinburgh but much cheaper) for £506 including baggage and fees - bargain!
