  • I had anglian windows installed last year they are amazing my fuel bills, before the windows were 1200 pound. This' year only paying 800 even with price rises. My friend brought cheap windows of another company but has nothing but problems,as don,t make their own even though they say they do.The handles broke and the locking system is terrible .Know she has brought anglian windows she can,t believe the difference, they were brillant,as they listened and new she had problems from previous company. Also anglian put everything in writing as show you how you save they back up what they do and what money you save. so the old saying is very true you pay for what you get so if you buy cheap, you will get problems.

IF your still looking for windows steer clear od The Advanced group
Signed up to no less than 14 windows and doors to be replaced.
What a shambles of a company for after sales service, since fitting have had the service guys back many times thats of course after the dozens of calls made to their after sales service shambles team.
I have lost count of the conversations with them promises of return calls and of course the company with the illest staff I have ever known with numerous phone calls with sudden been taken in to hospital cry off calls.
Then to make matters worse the frames started leaking and blew the plasterboard around the windows, despite numerous calls no replies and no sevice guy to remedy problem, then happened again flooding the room, pots and pans catching water ridiculous.
So took matters in to my own hands to prevent further damage, got a tradesman in to repair and then wrote to Advanced asking to be refunded.
Finally after weeks got to speak to who I assume was their service manager who quite frankly is no more a sevice manager than I am Popeye the sailor man, he only had one word in his vocabulary which was no, tried to get out of problem quoting the contract signed but pointed out damage has occured since installation, he didnt even know even afeter telling me he was in full knowledge of the facts that they had eventually been out to repalce the plaster, wait for it once he found this out he then had the cheek to tell me they would not be sending a decorator out to make good the decor.
Here is my advice to anyone contemplating installing windows or doors, spend your money somewhere else, their after sales service is a shambles and only matched by their arrogance, dont worry not finished with this shower I fully intend to take them to the small calims courts and get my hard earned money back

Please do not go with Advanced Group. This has been the worst service I have ever had.

Being from Aberdeen, Thistle Windows and Bon Accord Glass should have really been my first choice but prices seemed a little high especially compared to Advanced Group Windows. There deal was great and for triple glazing but what a joke its been. You should see the attention to detail...or should I say the little attention to detail! Windows were a mess. Not only that, I had a fault with the window with in a matter of months. They sent someone round to repair the window but the guy came a day early and left the window handle at my front door! And that's without actually seeing what the cause of the problem.

But its ok though...he left a voice mail and said " Ive left the window handle at your doorstep, you should have no bother putting it on yourself". Yes this is a simple procedure but come on, what do you get paid for.

So my advice is never ever go with this company. My cousins boyfriend works for this company so this is why I went with them. When they come round for initial consultation they constantly tell you how shxt thistle windows and bon accord glass are. Its fair to say you get what you pay for.

Always go for Thistle Windows or Bon Accord!

Ordered windows in 2012 for DIY installation. Were only company able to make windows in the colour I wanted - dark brown/black on the outside and white on the inside. Triple glazed. Very helpful in getting specification right. Quality was good and they are still as new 4 years on.
