Can I get a better deal?

I'm currently with Ornage and have been for quite a while. I'm currently in the last 6 months of my existing contract and would like to negotiate a better deal.

My current plan is as follows
Dolphin 35 plan
Blackberry Curve 3g
600 minutes
500 mb data
unlimited texts
magic numbers (I currently have 4 in use on my phone)
I pay £25 per month, should be £35 but I get a £10 loyalty discount.

I recently phoned up to get a review of my plan as I never use anywhere near the 600 min allowance and felt I'd be better off not paying so much. The new plan will commence on 26th of this month.
Same as above but 400 minutes and paying £20 per month, should be £30 but I nagged them and they let me keep the loyalty discount.

Now as an NHS employee if I sign up to a new deal (I'd have to buy out the last 6 months of my contract as I want to keep my number) I would qualify for Orange perks which allows me discount on my monthly cost. ( I think it is 10% IIRC)

Question is, can I do better on another network? If so, which one is the most reliable or do any other networks offer discount like the perk scheme on Orange?
I'm not fussy on Vodafone as I had it before and the reception in my area wasn't great. Orange reception here is ok as I use the UMA connection while in the house.

Any advice? Am I better to sit tight and try to barter a better deal closer to the end of my contract or buy out the remainder and run???

Thanks in advance for any replies :)

I am not sure about BB services, but Orange deals are a rip-off if compared to:

    chitter-chatter (t-mobile) - £10 for 350+300+500/unltd or 12x£10 for 600+500+500/unltd
    giffgaff (o2) - £10 for 250+unltd+unltd or £15 for 400+unltd+unltd
    talkmobile (vodafone) - 6x£8 for 300+1000+500 or £12 for 500+unltd+500

AFAIK giffgaff don't support BB services. It's extra £5.10 at chitter chatter. Don't know about talkmobile.
