Having been supplied with a 4 GB SD-HC instead of the 'standard' SD 4GB card I returned it for replacement. I asked 7dayshop when I could expect to receive the replacement as I had sent it back on Saturday 3rd February.
First they asked, how I sent it, then, if I had a postal receipt and now when did I send it?

Absolutely awful customer service. I have had to return 3 incorrectly supplied items, 1 faulty item and a fake Nero 7 from my last 3 orders.
  • Thanks for that, got mine works ok in Fuji s9500 but a bit slow saving the image. Not bad though for over 1000 images @ 9m

would expect so as it woulsd/should recognise the first 2GB.

i would suggest you get it anyway, as there will be i'm sure an update to enable a bigger SD size to be recognised, especially with the photo album facility and the fact that nintendo can update your wii in standby mode...:)

Generally no, it won't show up the first 2gb, as 4gb cards use a different file system. There may well be an update for the Wii at some point, who knows.

Re losing the pictures, can you see them on the camera, if so then it is the reader and not the card which is the problem.

  • Will these work with the Kodak CX6445 £30 camera that was on here recently, anybody? TIA!

Now 7dayshop are confused as to what I have sent back even though they told me to send it back.

Glad to hear that Currys now have a memory direct website. At least with Currys you can return faulty items to a store instead of trying to communication with people who have no idea about anything, including customer service, in Guernsey.

    Free delivery too.

Good spot! With free delivery, the prices aren't much more than 7dayshop and the fact you can return stuff to a shop is well worth the small extra charge IMHO.

If you take a look at the link in my post above (number 11) you will see this camera is not listed but no Kodak camera is listed above 2gb and all the CX range is listed at a 2GB limit so my guess in no it wont work.
