I saw this and thought it might be of use to someone, looks pretty cheap to me. http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_6&products_id=101120
I have a Sony digital camera, which means Im stuck buying the more expensive sony memory sticks - oh well.
Not purchased anything from this eTailer either so cant vouch for how reliable they are, Im sure there may be others who know how good they are, they have been mentioned here a few times.
By the way, I did a search for this but couldnt find anything - apologies in advance if its a repost.

Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.

Any idea what speed these are? I need a write speed of 10mb/s for my camcorder.
Cheers0 -
Be VERY,VERY careful only the very newest of digital cameras that require SD are likely to support these cards :undecided
Oh BTW......7 dayshop are very reliable, use them quite a bit, postage is £3.95 which takes around a week as they come from Guernsey, VAT free, yipee! The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.0 -

Review:
Card Works fine in my Dell Axim x51v. Didn't notice transfer speed but card is rated at 133x.
Howev-er it couldn't be read by my existing card reader but bought a new Hama one which reads it OK.
Rating: 5 of 5 Stars!
When I saw this offer I was very tempted, but I doubt whether my camera or MP3 player would be able to use it.Wins 2007 :Boots £125, XBOX 360 & 3 games 2008:5 David Gray CDs £10 DVD voucher 2 Crossed Bones DVD & chocolate Torch. Yep.....chances are many PDA's will recognize these as they can take the card formatted as a FAT32. All digital cameras whose filesystem is FAT16 are limited to 2GB cards unfortuantley.
After 2GB the cards have to be formatted to FAT32.
The SD card has just been reinvented as the curretn ones are now maxed out a 4gig the new ones called SDHC (high capacity) are currently at the 8gb mark but 16gig are promised later this year.......unfortuantley your camera needs to support the new cards to use them........mines does:p:DThe early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.0 -
Transfer rate to these is apparantly, VERy slow. (3.gGig copied from HD takes about 40 mins). i have no idea about transfer rate FROM them.
Also a lot of card readers wont recognise them."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
I got a 2Gb Kingston SD card for my MP3 player but it only states up to 1Gb in the manual.
Anyone know if this will work before I buy a 1Gb?
Thanks for your help.

Try it, it should be OK. It's > 2GB that normally causes issues.0 -

I have a 2210 too (currently with 2GB) which should be good to 4GB (according to my link below), and with a CF and SD card fitted (both £17.99 at this store) I can run my Ipaq with 8GB RAM :j
If you want to check your equipment (camera, PDA etc), check my compatibility link below a lot of newer Ipaq's can only use 2GB, strange older ones are better?
A lot of cameras can also only use 2GB and card readers too, my satellite laptop SD reader can't read the 2GB SD card that my Ipaq 2210 can.
