Do you still have use for the DVDs? If so why don't you keep them and return the PayPal refund that you've received?

There were four series and when it became (seemingly) apparent that they weren't going to arrive, I bought the first two.
  • Advise the seller that you are not comfortable with them attending your home address in person due to their previous behaviour and that they may either:

Send the P&P costs via Paypal as a gift
Send a recognised courier to collect the goods
Meet you in a public place (if you are happy to do this)

If they threaten you with the police again I would just take the DVDs to the local police station and tell the seller to go get them from there (assume the police station would accept them?)

I think the police will say that the OP is in the right if the seller sent the items voluntarily. I think the OP should go to the police with the seller's threats and ask for their assistance or advice.

  • Well, I threatened to go to the police myself and the seller backed down quickly. They said they were on bail and spun me another of their made-up stories.

Hope that'll be the last I hear anyway.

Thank you everyone for the help

You could tell them that you'll put them back in the post without postage & they can pay when it arrives to them, including the £1 handling charge.
