Hi all, we went to Florida for a hoilday of a life time thanks to dear mother in law in sept 05, but we cant get our video to play back in colour!!
We have tried playing it back through different camcorders and tvs ect but to no luck, bought a new lead no luck, we recorded it in lp which we were told maybe why it isnt in colour???
Help i would love to sit with kids and watch it but disney isnt quite the same in black and white.
It is as panasonic nv-ex3 mini dv.

try changing your tv from AV to CVBS if it has this function, you will prob have to go through its menu system. it sounds as though the tv is set to the wrong format and this should solve it.Don't ask me, Im SKINT0

Does it playback in colour on the built in LCD screen on the camcorder? Only reason I ask is that I have a Panasonic camcorder and it has a night vision mode on it which records in black and white, it is fairly easy to knock the switch and activate it by accident, I've done it myself. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Yes on the lcd it is in colour just black and white on the tv.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0

Sorry as you can tell i need you lot in the knows help!! LOL
Sorry didnt think.
go into the menus and look to see if it has a video out option set it to PAL.
How are you connecting to the tv? jack to scart, jack to phono
if jack to scart try the other scart socket if your tv has 2. mine has a euro scart and a standard scart which do different things.0 -
are you using an s-video lead?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

We have tried a s video lead, the only other thing i can tell you is when we tried playing the tapes through another video camera it was in colour but went all `blocky` moving blocks of fuzzyness all over making it unwatchable.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0
