Wash all petbedding, as hot as it will take, and any soft furnishings that are removeable. If they have taken hold then you will probably have to do the house too.
Nasty little blighters, good luck!2 angels in heaven :A0 -

Well it's been over 3 hours now I can keep chasing them round the house, I'm sure they wll be fine, I have noticed my female cat has been scratching a he'll of a lot more the las hour!! How does it actually kill the fleas? Do I have to comb them out or do they just fall out, she's actually scratched 23 times in the lat hour!!!Disneyland Paris (Dream Castle) - January 2010

I think it works just by the fleas coming into contact with the fur of the treated cat. You may well see more fleas as the Frontline draws them out and this may also explain the increased scratching.
I would have thought they would drop out (I do use Frontline, but thankfully mine have never had fleas so I'm not too sure). If it was me, I'd help them along by using the flea comb as well though.0 -
Thanks for everyone's help we came ddownstairs saturday morning and I have never seen so many dead fleas on the floor! They do seem a lot calmer now, still keep seeing the odd dead flea drop out which is good but about 10 mins ago I saw a bloody flea on me jump, we have vacuumed absolutely everywhere in our house so there shouldn't be any left!! I read on the packaging that it prevents fleas for upto 5 weeks, how does that work? Do they just die as soon as they get on the cat? I'm gonna vacuum again later and if we still see the odd one we are going to have to get some spray, which is best?Disneyland Paris (Dream Castle) - January 2010

I am still seeing the odd flea jumping around in my living room, we are vacuuming daily so we are now going to get a flea spray for our house, which is the best one to go for? I was looking at the johnsons one from my local pets at home, requires no pets to be in the room for at least 30 minutes then air afterwards, is this one ok?
I take it our cats are immune to the fleas for the timebeing? we have used a flea comb on them tonight and found nothing, however we are just a bit worried that there seems to be a few fleas still in the house!Disneyland Paris (Dream Castle) - January 2010
