Many years ago when my Friday was but a wee girl (she's 13 now), I was unaware of how bad Bob Martin is. That was until I innocently bought some worming tablets for her. That was one life out of nine used up

Thanks, she is the sweetest, most good-natured puss you could ever wish to know, though she can get a bit annoyed when the two kittens won't leave her alone :rotfl: I am shocked too by the fact that BM is still on sale in places - it should definitely come with a health warning!

One last question before we purchase frontline today, it won't affect them if they haven't had their vaccinations yet will it? I know it's a silly question just want to make sure!

hi i ordered frontline and drontal wormer last week from co op pharmacy online? its cheaper and on sale at moment and good news is it actually seemed to work on our cats after they made friends with a flea infested hedgehog!

Totally true - the only pet (dog or cat) or mine that has ever had fleas was my indoor cat when I lived in a block of flats in the city. Other flats had cats so I can only assume the fleas got into the stairwell and I carried them into the flat - eugh!


Frontline will be fine to use without the cats being vaccinated - however, as Oliver says, you'll also need to treat your house (carpets, furniture etc) as fleas can unfortunately live in these and re-infest the animal.

Re jabs - I'd have a chat with your vet. As others have said with indoor cats it's maybe not as essential as for outdoor cats but ..... also, if they're insured, check your policy as some stipulate that your cats are vaccinated or the policy can be invalidated.

But defleaing them with or without injections makes no difference, they will thank you for it!

Thank you so much for you reply, cant wait to get them deflead later!! Once we have done them we shall vacuum the whole house from top to bottom and then possibly buy some house flea stuff tomorrow!
