Best PAYG O2 phone for my sister
My sister is looking for a new phone after breaking hers.
She's on O2 PAYG so either needs something cheaply and easily unlocked or on o2.
She's looking to spend up to about £90, wants a decent camera (at least 1mpx), bluetooth and a decent battery.
What's the best offer out there?

aye she doesn't really like the k750i although in terms of specs it seems perfect and we've heard bad things about o2 phones. Any other ideas?0

Nokia 6111 in Pink, from Dialaphone.
http://www.dialaphonepp.co.uk/pplink/dap/
I bought 1 just before Christmas on T Mobile PAYG. They're now doing them for £95 on T Mobile with £5 free credit. I think you have to spend another £5 on credit, bringing the cost up to £100, but that is cheaper than the O2 option (you get £5 extra airtime). The phone we got was unlocked, so I could have (and did) stick a sim from another providor in and work it.
I did see that phone in CPW for £89 as well, but I'm not sure that would be unlocked.
I also got one as a replacement for a phone that was damaged, again supplied by Dialaphone, that was unlocked too.
1 Megapixle camera with flash
MP3 player with earphones
Software disk
Bluetooth and Infrared
FM radio - though you need an enhancement - ie spend more money
I would buy a cheap bluetooth dongle for the PC as it does not come with a data cable. I got one in PC World for £15. That way she can link any bluetooth phone to her PC, not just the 6111Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
The 6111 has reliability issues apparently - I've seen it for around £80 on o2 too, but she's heard too many bad reviews to go for it. (amazon and a few other places).
I personally think the k750i seems like the best specced phone but she's put off by the joystick problem as she's had friends with that issue, plus *everybody* has it and she wants to have something a bit different for some reason. If it could be found for around £70 or less she might be swayed though. Any ideas at getting the price down?
She's a fussy !!!!!! I'm afraid though.
She does seem to like the v3i, so any ideas if anywhere has that cheap or how easy it is to unlock?
Thanks for the suggestions so far.0 -
I think that you can hear bad things about any phone. I know of people that have said the Sony ericsson W810i is a bad phone with software issues, then others would never change it for the world.
What sort of phone does she like? somewhere you'll find someone that can tell you bad things about that one."God is as real as I am,” the old man said.

She quite likes samsungs and flip phones in general I think, but as I say she can be very fussy. Typical teenage girl - cares what her friends think more than anything sensible.0
