Long (ish) story. I sold some bits on ebay in June (buyer paid for this particular item on June 12th). Sent recorded to the paypal verified address and the item was signed for on June 18th. Buyer messages me to tell me she hasn't had the item, and asks have I sent it. Confirmed I had, and that it had been signed for and suggest she should ask around her neighbours to see if anyone has it for her.
Well August 26th she opens an ebay dispute, calling me a fraudulent ebayer, and telling ebay there must be something they can do to stop me doing this to other people, and that her financial situation is bad enough she cant even afford her own medical prescriptions. I have over 500 positive feedback, a couple of negatives from people trying their luck.
Anyway, she never replied to my reply on the dispute, and on September 9th she escalated it to ebay customer service. They said that I would hear the outcome within 48 hours, and its now the 13th going on the 14th September. I'm getting a little bit worried. Should I be?

Did you add the tracking, I am assuming it was INR dispute?0
-
Yep I added tracking the day it was posted. Always do with my sold items, so it showed up automatically on the dispute. Yea it was an INR dispute.0
-
Do make sure that you added the tracking number showing that it's been delivered.
Oops cross posted.
It should be a straightforward win for you0 -
Yes, if the tracking uploaded then you will win if it says delivered. Assuming it was under £150 and she's not disputing the signature?0
-
Was it a PP or eBay dispute?0
-
It was an ebay dispute, and yea she's saying she doesn't know anybody of the name thats signed for it. The item was only £13 so well under £150 yea.0
-
The signature is irrelevant then. The eBay dispute is a problem but only in so much as they don't have a timescale they keep to! As you have found out.0
-
So do you think it could go either way?0
-
No, you will win, but she may also get a no fault refund - not that it matters to you. It's just more the timescale - there isn't one!0
-
Ah I see, well thats reassuring, thank you for taking the time to reply to me0
