Any liquids over 150 ml may be confiscated. Shampoo, deoderant, perfume, and of course bottled water. Some airports seem to be more strict than others. Havent flown from Manchester so can't advise.

Liquids may be in containers of 100 ml or less only. See this thread for more info: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=343937

Have flown from Shannon and Guernsey in the past few weeks and neither of these airports had a problem with me walking through wearing shoes, belt and jacket and carrying water and toiletries. Hope this helps

well i have come back from my day in dublin and i thought i would tell you what you can take. in my bag i had a pen, brush, moblie phone. in a clear bag you put your makeup and keys, going through i didnt have to take of my shoes but coming back did and OH had to take off his belt they were unsure about my watch. you are still not allowed to take drinks over 100ml and medicine you were not allowed only under certain situations. i saw baby milk being used. a lighter had to be in a clear plastic bag, these are given out.

one thing i was not happy about is that i could not get any duty free alcohol.

if you want anymore info, just ask and i hope everyone has a lovel holiday
