Toiletries etc dont have to go in your hand luggage, but if you are putting them there then yes the bottles would need to be less than 100ml each. I just flew Glasgow to Belfast and back last week and all I carried liquid wise in hand luggage was a few bits of make up. Everything else went in my suitcase that I checked in.

If your able to put the kids drinks in your checked in luggage then that would prob be easier as it wouldnt cause any problems when going through security.

OK - you can carry liquids in your checked in bags without any restrictions - i.e. any size and without having to be put in a clear plastic bag.

Any liquids that you want to take on board, in hand luggage must be in containers of less than 100ml each, and must all comfortably fit into a clear plastic bag of roughly 20 cm x 20 cm. If the juices you mention are more than 100 ml (which presumably they will be), you can't take them through security. However, once you have passed through security, you are free to take any liquids you buy airside (e.g. in duty free shops) onboard the aircraft.

Hope this clears things up a little, and have a good trip! :)
  • thanks LB1985, some one has actually explained it to me in english !!!

i will pack most of it in the case then, wont need it on the plane, drinks are more for when we get there, i can buy them a bottle of water each in duty free for the plane

    thanks alot for that !!!!!
