Anyone recommend a good ISP that also offers phone line?
Im currently with Virgin 50Mb,But i think they are expensive (especially the phone line) and their customer support is no good.
I priced up on Sky too but they wanted £50 a month for their 20mb connection (and they said i might only be able to get 5-11mbps in my area) + phone line.
which again is a ripoff.
Appreciate any feedback.

If the estimate you're being given by Sky is 5 to 11 Mbps - the average of that being around 8Mbps - then that's all the phone line can potentially manage, regardless of what ISP you go with - indeed Sky is ADSL2+ and so their speed would be higher than some others.
I say "potentially" since it's an estimate, could be higher or lower than that.
£50/mo seems expensive - line rental maybe around £15 a month + broadband about the same per month sounds closer to "normal". Wondering if they've got that wrong.0 -
As above, don't know who gave you the Sky costs.
Unlimited Broadband and Sky Talk Freetime is £10/month
Line Rental is £12.25/month.
ATM You can get 6 months broadband/talk for £5/month.
You can save a bit more on line rental by paying for 12 months up front.
See the Sky Website for details. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
lol, Sky isn't £50 a month. I pay less than that with Sky Talk, Broadband Unlimited and their TV.0
