  • You might find that the cash advance limit is lower than your total credit limit. If this is the case it should be printed on your statement.

    Assuming you still have the card, and it has a decent limit*, you can still use them to create a debt which you can then BT to LTSB.

    unfortunately the M and S card is gone. for various reasons i cancelled it (kind of regret it now, but the 0% period was so short , it didnt seem like a good idea ).
    as an aside, i am leaving the country for over a year, so i am not worried about damage to my credit rating really, as i will only use halifax clarity once to dump the cash in the mortgage whilst im away.


    thats why i didnt want the hassle of such a short M and S period, and the extra time needed to organise TC.
