was thinking about the easiyo......in your experience can you make the yogurt successfully without using a new sachet each time.
Really pleased with myself.....just prepared tea for myself hubbie and 3 friends without tearing out to the shops[ not bad when you consider was only phoned by OH at about 12.30....looks a good spread too. Just waiting for jacket spuds to finish, the rest is on the table ready for when they arrive. Quiche made with some of the gammon I boiled earlier, sliced gammon, prawns, cheese, green salad, 2 types of coleslaw, potato salad, beetroot salad, pickles, olives then fresh fruit salad , cheesecake [ from freezer]We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -

ooooh yes indeedy
I don't buy the sachets at all.
When I *do* need to refresh a 'starter' I buy a small pot of bio yogurt from the supermarket and use that as my starter together with a couple of Tbsps of dry milk powder and a carton of longlife skimmed milk ... works a treat every time
We have a very long thread about the Easiyo and ways of making it up without resorting to the expense of the sachets - including freezing some of your yogurt to use as a starter at a later date
I'll find the link and post it ... have a cuppa at the ready, it's a loooong one
BTW: well done on meal :T :T :T~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wow vivw, that sounds like a great spread! Well done. :T
I would have been in a flat spin, and had to head out and buy a shop for a last minute meal (I am great at planning, and useless at those kind of surprises...)
Save the earth, it's the only planet with chocolate!0 -
