In addition to Aintree Hospitals NHS Trust there are numerous others who have published in their board minutes - or as annexes to them - that the enforcement of parking charges are intended as financial penalties to deter miscreant drivers - including their own staff. This would seem to be at odds with contract law and indeed employment law. Given that these trust boards are the controlling minds such publications could be used to show the real thinking behind their schemes. I have copies of many of these board documents that I have come across. I will not publish them or a list - for obvious reasons (I suspect we'll see a degree of redrafting going on) but save to say if a poster is pursued by one of these trusts I will provide them with copies of the documents I have.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

This makes me feel better now.
I get medication posted to me regularly from a hospital, which has PPC parking enforcement. Have been doing this for over 4 years.
I recently was requested to pick up the medication instead of it being posted to me; in order for the hospital to save money. I declined cos of the parking enforcement costs and cos it is a 16 mile round trip for me. I was economical with the truth by advising the hospital that I couldn't drive.
There is a hospital more local to me but it and none of the pharmacies stock this medication. Don't ask me why cos I don't know.
Many thanks for this as I have a clear conscience now and do not feel guilty.:)Have a beer! :beer:0
