15% house price rise ??

I have a Focus, yay i'm lucky!
Come on, if that guy knows the house price will rise by 15% then he would have retired by now.0 -
I think house prices will depend on the perception and expectation of the younger generation. The older generation - and me personally - have experienced 14.75% interest during which I had to give up studying for a professional qualification to go and earn to contribute to household costs with little left over for anything else. We've done our level best to own our own homes.
BUT there is far more emphasis on leisure and personal enjoyment now. Perhaps youngsters already feel house prices and the personal sacrifices to own are too much. If this is the case, BTL has got to be the way forward. There will be huge numbers resigned to renting. There will be a huge upsurge in park homes and I foresee agricultural land being used for this. At the moment, park homes are something of a scam, but the demand for homes will force legislation. If you can't afford BTL property, buy land.
It's a rich get richer scenario. Sad!0 -
I just dont see a 15% rise this year.
If they do we are heading for trouble.0 -
