Is this the best deal SG2?
Best Deal Ever
Upgraded to an 18 month contract on July 25th 2011. Looking on Virgin Website, found out that they are now doing a 12/24 month contracts. As I was within my 14 days testing period, I decided to call to find out how much it will cost me for a 12 month contract. Could not believed what I was told: 400 mins, unlimeted text and 1gb Internet. £15.37 per month-phone free. Yes. Samsung S2 free for 12 months total cost £184.44. Could not belive it. I even questioned if this was correct, she confirmed that the figures are definately right. In 1 years time, I can sell the phone for at least £200.00. Dont ask why or how I got this deal, but all I can say is: THANK YOU VIRGIN

I only just joined this forum today(13/09/11). This article I originally posted on the Samsung Galaxy S2 forum. The reason I posted it here, is to let people know that you can get a good upgrade even if you don't threaten to leave.

Almost certainly a mistake though, as the total would barely cover the cost price of the handset. I would guess they based this tariff deal on the Samsung Galaxy Ace, but a glitch or error meant you got the S2.
Hopefully, they will honour this for you, but I doubt anyone else would get this deal.0 -
Anyone else got any other decent deals on the S2?Hope over Fear. #VoteYes0

Bought the phone outright brand new with 2 years warranty in white for £330 and then got a 24 month contract through mobiles.co.uk for £26 for 400 mins and 250mb data and some texts with 23 months free via redemption and a samsung galaxy apolo wich im selling on ebay and £30 Tcb
After all the cashback and selling the phone for £80+ i should be doing quite well.
Also have a contract with virgin mobile, ill give them a ring i think.0 -

That's a crazy good price, where did you find such an offer? I'm after a SG2 myself and the best i can do is £384 for Black or £405 for White through Amazon. 2 year warranty which includes accidental damage is another £48 on top of that.0 -
Well what i did was look on ebay for the cheapest buy it now sgs2 in white, that was a company called starlight i think
they were offering it for £360 ish plus £7.5 delivery
I phoned them up, asked them if I came round to the shop would they give me a better price because they wouldn't have to pay ebay and paypal fees. I negotiated them down to £330 and went drove down later that afternoon to view the phone pay by credit card and pick it up.
The phone was locked to T-mobile but i managed to unlock it very easily, no t-mobile branding on the phone itself but I had to re flash rom because I think it had t mobile bloatware but I cant really remember(i just like reflashing roms :P)
Hope I've been of help, good luck0 -
