    He should have signed up with AutoAid, which covers any car he is driving for £38pa.

    (With AutoAid, you pay the repair bills and then claim the money back.)

    how long have rac been doing this? I've cancelled the renewal and re joined many times in previous years

    My Green Flag renewal came through £50 dearer than a new member this year. I rang them and they price matched the new member price. I was told they will always price match a like for like quote from their website. I couldn't afford the same level of cover from the AA or RAC.

    My Green flag renewal came through and has risen from £52 last year to 69,96 this year which includes a 10% no call out discount, I went to their website and filled the form in for a quote using slightly different personal details and got a quote for £63,60. This doesn't fill me with enthusiasm for the company.
