19" Samsung SM940BW Widescreen TFT £142.72 delivered at morecomputers.co.uk
Just thought with all this hunting for 19" WS monitors I'd show this screen.
I thought till now the Hans WS Monitor on amazon for £139 delivered was best deal. One of the cheaper screens with DVI available, then I found this one on morecomputers.co.uk.
This is a hardcore samsung branded TFT, 3 years onsite swap out and ZERO Dead Pixel Policy. What I also like is the decent stands they use, very adjustable too and slightly tiltable for improved viewing.
Update [19-1-07] Someone on this thread has reported that morecomputers swapped out his samsung monitor with a single dead pixel for another. Bonus.
I already have a 20" version of this (205BW) and got this one for my mum.
Bargain if you ask me, similar price to Hans on this website. Everywhere else is selling for at least £30-40 more. However at £142.72 the 19" is a bargain.
Ebuyer: £162 + delivery
Amazon: £173 + delivery (third party)
Pointless buying at these prices if you ask me, when the 20" WS Samsung is £199 delivered on Amazon (the one I personally use).

No TV tuner, this is a monitor. Although you could hook one up at additional expense.

I have the 20'' version of this at home...a fantastic monitor!!
Good price for the 19'' version0 -
never heard of morecomputers, they a reputable company?0

neither did i. They have good feedback online and look well established.
You can even have a free text sent to you when its been dispatched. Thought that was quite fancy.
Anyway - look out if you want to delivery to a 'non-business' address that isnt your billing address. Looks like they don't like credit card fraud
I had to email them and politely ask [they reply within an hour].0 -
Does anyone have the direct link I can't seem to find this monitor.
Cheers

This is cheapest even if you consider savastore after quidco.0 -
As already mentioned - maybe worthwhile to get the 20'' at an extra £50.

I've used them before without any problems and IIRC they have been recommended by PC Pro magazine (they often list their prices on product reviews).0 -
