Would you not mind staying in a hostel? We have been to dublin twice, staying in hostels, and we liked Barnacles - it was right on the temple bar so you can fall out of the pub into the hostel.

when staying in a hostel.. what do u do with your stuff? mite seem a crazy question lol..0

depends - you can hire a dormitory which you share with other people (strangers) but your stuff is not safe - its mainly for back packers who are on a very small budget. You will find that the more people you share a room with, the more cheaper the room.
We stayed in a twin room, it was en-suite, and you had your own keycard so your stuff was safe - I think they had safe facilities but it was about 3 years ago so cant remember, but you can ring them and find out. The room was small, with bunk beds but clean. I have recommended it to two other friends who found it great, especially the location of it.
It was just like a b&b (we were never up early enough for breakfast) but is full of back packers - it is very very basic, but its a cheap roof over your head.Loan (orig. £6014.20), now [STRIKE] £5,813.74 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£5,063.58[/STRIKE], £5,438.66 debt free Oct 2009
