  • Minion off to KH.

Splat still howling at the wide open windows for me to get up and let him in the front door.
    th_Dunce_Cat.jpg

Two girl splats snoring on the furniture, both with smug smiles on their faces. I suspect the ^ situation of stoooopid ^ has some bearing on this.

WM on a whites load, having ordered Minion to get her washing down before she left or she would be going to school next week in unwashed, stinky uniform.

I've bleached one half of the kitchen counters and cleaned the cupboard fronts,
    done the sink,
put pans on draining board to soak,

    DW on

Emptied cutlery drawer with a view to reorganising it as I tend to throw things in haphazardly because it isn't organised right.

10% water change for Morris & the Munchers (feat. Gary the Snail).

    Bleached downstairs loo.

Polished bathroom mirror, glass shelf and tap.

Tried bicarb in the bottom of the cat nasties tray in the hope it keeps the pong down without making their toes itch like the scented stuff does.

Polished full length mirror by front door.

Taken my washing upstairs and bunged it on my bed. I will do it! Honest!

and that is pretty much it. I should do more, I know I should, but then I think 'who cares?'.

I shall force myself to do another half hour tonight and then some more tomorrow.

  • Good evening ladies
I have been busy.... getting a temporary job!! :j:j
FINALLY someone wants me to work in their office. It's for 10 days and not great money but I'm just so glad to be back in work. I celebrated by buying a smart black skirt (£4) and a lovely green light jumper-with-pretend-blouse-underneath (£1) from the Shelter CS :money::money: Couldn't fit my big hot fat feet into the gooooorgeous unworn cream patent heels (£7.50) but very happy with what I got.
Only basics/dailies done today but kids with XH for the weekend so I can fly fly fly to my heart's content.
Hugs, spoons, sticks and happy happy vibes to all. Extra nice comforting vibes for poorly people. Thinking of pigpen...
    Have a good evening all.

no she is only 13 so has to wait till 18 .when i go for my annual appointment i will find out more about her being tested . yeah your right it was probably one of the hardest things to do .
trying to answer her questions without scaring her anymore than need be .
think im still in shock to be honest iykwim xx
  • I don't know what to say, Neveah, I found it strange telling DD she has inherited some sort of connective tissue disease from me/her father - but nothing as life changing as that. I think you do have to beware of her Googling it - and perhaps even contacting the school so they don't do that to someone else's child, as they usually talk about different conditions for the genetics part. They may need to be alerted anyway, so they can support her as she adjusts to the information - you don't want a neutral teacher talking about the severity and outcome without realising someone in the class is directly affected.
