Been to post office and deposited E-tat and bought packing tape.
Also went to the tip with 6 black bags, some from the house but mostly from the garage, filled the recycling bin with tatty cardboard from the garage and took down a steel bathroom shelve type thing and that went to the tip also.
Finished packing another box from the kitchen with things like the food processer and blender etc which i dont need to use before I move
Off round the house to tape up all the full boxes and get them stored away.
Oh - have also done some dishes and gathered up the laundry - off to get the machine on too...
....and put the kettle on - I havent even had tea today :eek:Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

hello all, have fallen into a slump lately under the weight of things to do. Here is my rather late list for today,
Upstairs
[STRIKE]My bedroom
bathroom
fold clothes and put away
hoover upstairs[/STRIKE]
get dd to do room (!!!!!!!)
Downstairs
[STRIKE]Kitchen[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Hall & Hoover
Lounge[/STRIKE]
Books
Thats it for now, as i never get most of it done anyway, so off i go to try once again0 -
WM on.
Soup decluttered, thus also making a little room in the cupboard - I'm trying to run things down so I can justify a huuuuuuge shop. I really, really need a proper sized freezer, as I've only got a little tabletop one that doesn't seal properly and I never seem to have enough room in it for anything. Been looking on Freecycle for months, but no luck so far, and I can't really afford one brand new.
Bins emptied again - I keep finding stuff that Minion has stuffed into corners and under throws and suchlike, which I am not in the least happy about. There is a great stack of her gibble on the bottom stair that I shall throw at her if she doesn't pick it up immediately she comes in.
Oh, and I've been trying to teach stooopid cat that open windows work in both directions - ie, you do not go out of them and then howl at them for me to get up and let you in the front door, only to take yourself back out again to howl at the window for me to get up and let you in the font door, only to - well, you get the idea, don't you?
Fluffybum cat came downstairs as I was trying to explain to stooopid, took one look and thought 'that looks fun' and promptly came out the one window, walked along the sill, jumped down and then jumped back in through the next window. So it's not hard.
Oh well, he's the one who is going to be outside when the kids kick out of primary school down the road in ten minutes.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
ok - all boxes taped shut and downstairs ones moved into cupboard understairs. Upstairs ones are in the corner of the spare room.
Have filled another box with spare bedding/extra curtains etc which I can relaunder when I get there (if I need them - if not, ebeast)
Still havent had a flipping cup of tea... nearly school time now

Jojo - I bought my freezer from Netmums for a tenner, so maybe have a look on there? Im sure youve probably already looked, but sometimes on ebay you can pick them up for next to nothing too... or gumtree.Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Anyway, I have unpacked yet cos I CBA, this weekend's job is mainly washing and ironing as I am very busy with work next week. If it ever stops raining I would like to cut the grass too.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

:rotfl::rotfl:I love that picture. I really want to do it with the dog today. He's been barking constantly and I've had to shut him inside so he doesn't annoy the neighbours. Now he's sulking.
Brilliant flying and frog day today (although I still haven't quite finished the floors) But if I get those done tonight I will have completed a weeks list. :j And will have the weekend to do Toots and Frogs. Determined to start next week all clean and tidy.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
