Thank you again for the thread, pigpen and toots. Hope you are both ok.

I'm still finishing today's list on the old thread. I've not done too badly today and most of the things still left on it aren't essential.

DS2 is taking a packed lunch to school from tomorrow in the hope that he'll eat more. The dinners are great, but there's so much he won't touch. He might like the main item of a meal, but none of the sides, so he ends up still hungry. I'm going to bake and freeze a few things today and do a trawl on here for healthy sandwich box items, so he gets plenty of variety.

Well done with your list items, froddy. I'm planning something similar myself and I'll take Mrs B's advice on going for 30min in the room of the day, as anything has got to be an improvement.

I'm recording Inspector George Gently at the moment so I can watch it when I've done some work. I'll see you all tomorrow, but I won't be around much. x
  • This week I'm going to pick 3 or 4 things from each of pigpen's lists and then work on a general sort and declutter of that day's room. I need to stop hoarding quite so much stuff and this is my way of tackling it.
Monday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas

    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets

    Daily
    HHC - sort / declutter M Tu W Th F Sa Su

    My one-a-day (or 7-a-weekend!!) list
    - Phone gardener
    - Contact GF
    - Tax website
    - Advertise cage
    - Bags to charity shop
    - 101 list
    - Car checks

Spooky - I've just posted my list with a 'daily' of a HHC sort and declutter! It'll be sometime in the evenings once I'm in from work so, if you're around, we can tackle our half hour together.

Right now I need to get 5 furries back into their cage ..........!!

I won't be in. I plan to leave the house just about tidy (apart from the study where all the crap has migrated yet again), so I'm up at 5ish tomorrow to get the last bits done, decide what to wer and have breakfast before the taxi gets here at 7am.

Have fun... The flight is probably going to be bumpy, and it'll be hard work, but Tuesday morning is free and apparently will be hot and sunny!

Sounds like a great idea! Tomorrow it would have to be after 6pm. You've just encouraged me to sort my list out now, rather than leaving it until the morning.
