Hi there
I phoned Virgin yesterday to port my number over from Orange, everything went well and they said it will go through on the 18th Jan.
Trouble is my O/H noticed the letter is dated 18th December and I only have 30 days to transfer my number over, does that mean 30 days to organise it or 30 days to have it done by.
I'm really confused now
will it still go through? or do I need to ring Orange for another code or ring Virgin to cancel the change then start again
Any help would be appreciated as I am just really thick with these type of things:embarasse

should be ok as port process starts before the code expiresIf I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:0 -
the fact they've stated the port will happen on the 18th means the PAC was entered into the Porting system and the two companies have agreed the date, therefore your PAC has been 'used' before it expired. Nothing to worry about, it's getting the port onto the system before 30 days not the port actually happening which is important0
