    Hi everyone ...I took £76 woth of £2 coins along with another £4 and paid it off my credit card...Iwent to aldi for ptatoes and realised they are half price in lidl..so walked to lidl to buy them!!

    I stopped my cleaner saving £22.50 a week and put some more bboks on Amazon to sell.

    Made a huge cauldron of soup that will last me and OH until end of next week for lunches:D

    Also sold OH rowing machine to the window cleaner for £50, last years resolution, used twice:rolleyes: :rolleyes: And sold DD's mini trampoline and step at work for £20, another resolution:rolleyes: :rolleyes: Bit of a theme going on here:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
    If anyone is after an electric treadmill watch this thread next january as OH has just bought himself one:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Still ,managed to make £70 and free up some valuable storage space:D

    Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
    i made a lasagne and a pot of chicken noodle soup which got put into plastic tubs and frozen in portions for future lunches at work.

    i also went into boots and spent a little wise money on a few bits.

  • Debated on going to pub for lunch with my friend to cheer us up after another friend's funeral, but decided to have a sarnie and a gossip at her place instead so saved the cash and got a free lunch too :-)

    Cadged a lift to funeral instead of driving myself

    Resisted a McDonalds deli sandwich when I got my son a happy meal and came home to make my own tea :-)

    Visited my Nanna and she gave me a bag of tins and half a bag of carrots cos her cupboard was too full

    Stuck to shopping list of milk, eggs and birthday card in Asda

    I took soup to work in a flask today. It was amazing to me how much nicer it was to have a hot lunch instead of a sandwich! I definitely need to put more soups and stews in the freezer to heat up in the morning.

    The only problem is... it leaks! So I might have to buy a new flask.
