Thank you, will look out for it.
  • I find the Co-op in Mablethorpe is a bit on the dear side unless you are selective with your buying. Park on the Co-op site and walk over the road to Heron, its a lot cheaper. There is also a Lidl just down the road.

    hi

how many days food are you taking? how long are you staying for?

We usually stay 3 or 4 nights and I have never had a problem with the size of the fridges.... although the freezer is a bit small as is just one shelf / not always a whole shelf...

The fridge is just an old style under the counter fridge which has a small freezer drawer at the top, 2 not very deep shelves and then 2 drawers at the bottom.

But what i do is take frozen home made ready meals eg frozen bolognaise sause, frozen home made curry , frozen fish pie and these do not need to go in the freezer but stay in the fridge (or even in the cool box) and they defrost gradually to be eaten on the second or third day. there is enough room in the fridge for quite a few of the takeway style tupperware boxes, plus the bottom bits of the fridge fit in all our uncooked meats for breakfast eg - good bacon, sausages, black pudding...

ham, and salad and other packed lunch stuff fits in the other bottom drawer of the fridge...

the freezer only fits in stuff like large packet of fish fingers..

I take pasta, rice, tins of baked beans, tins of toms, eggs, tortilla's, jam, packets of cereal.

I usually buy fresh bread and milk on site daily.

we never eat out whilst away and have never had a problem - but i am only feeding 4 or sometimes 6 .

    Have a great time.

Mabblethorpe Haven has a lovely beach over the road, and the seal sanctuary was good. The swimming pool was fine and has a flume.
