Haven - Fridge Freezers Advice Please

We are going to Heaven in a few weeks time and have booked an 8 berth caravan. We are planning to take loads of food with us both fresh and frozen. Will the fridge and freezer be big or is it just a small fridge with a small freezer compartment?

I'm a regular Haven user, and to be honest the fridges within the vans are quite small, enough to get brekkie stuff in and maybe sandwich stuff. If you after storing freezer food, you are out of luck. I think we managed to fit a pack of ice pops in the top section of the fridge, just a small freezer section.
We found that we hardly ate the food that we took, and ate out most of the time for ease. Only meals we had in the van were breakfast and a few lunches.
Hope that helps.Debt Free By Olympics 2012

Thanks, may have to re-think that idea then. Hopefully there will be a tesco or asda nearby so we can buy stuff as we need it.0

Same when we went, just a small fridge with an icebox, so had to refill it rather than do a big shop. It is best to find out where your nearest larger off site supermarket is as the resort shop was more expensive.0

If you have young kids, there is a place on the opposite side of the road to the co-op, that does kiddies meals and unlimited play in their soft play area for £5.50 a head.
I took my two young ones there twice in four days as its probably the cheapest place to get a kids meal!
The carvery on the front is nice too!Debt Free By Olympics 2012
