  • Gave away a heap of these today, too. Now just have ten in my cupboard. TBH, they're nowhere near as good as Heinz for basic tomato soup. No way.
:money:I'm not a friend of Martin's, I AM Martin. Just not THAT Martin. :money:
  • Whilst the soups may not be exceptional as soup I thiink the only reason they've been around for so long is there use, undiluted, as a base for home made chicken pies, pasta sauces and loads of other things. They really work in this way and have been a staple in my family for donkeys year - daughter at uni doing same thing. Check out their website for receipes- pls:beer:
  • Managed to get 6 in Morrisons today. Currently on a 3 for 2 offer. 69p per tin so normal price would be 2.10. used 3 vouchers on them with a total of 2.44 off which ends up giving you a pound in credit. so in short got paid 2pounds to take 6 cans of soup away :-)

I did exactly this today - made a chicken and mushroom pie filling, threw an onion and a bit of garlic in it and added a can of the condensed mushroom soup to make the sauce - it needed a bit of milk to thin it a little and a bit of pepper, but otherwise was very tasty. Also not too salty, which was a pleasant surprise - they must have reduced the salt content from the last time I used Campbells soups.
  • It makes lovely pasta.

The mushroom one is lovely poured over chicken. The tomato one is great over chicken mixed with herbs and topped with melted cheese. Yum yum bang gones the diet, lol!!

I heard a sales assistant at the self service checkouts telling another that there were problems with the soup voucher and also utterly butterly vouchers.

Was this at Mr-T's or sains-burys?? Thanks in advance :)
  • Many problems with these today, but got 6 cans in the end :)

The bar code is a little blurry (I'm using the 3 on one page coupon) so it's not scanning. Used at SS. Sainsbury's took 10 - 15 mins to sort it, calling over many people, saying I couldn't use it, taking me to CS, she finally let me use it but when it took off 82p she noticed they are only 59p (ish) and got all confused ect! Finally just put it through, don't think she could be bothered with the hassle lol :)

Tesco, wouldn't scan but lovely lady just typed in 82p off each time :P

Have saved the file now, as someone has said the voucher has changed to 20p off??

    Thanks OP!

Dont forget the go ahead and special k bars, and if your lucky the Tesco Finest Biscuits for cheese, reduced to 59p. Might be best to write a shopping list :)
  • I'll be saving some for the harvest festival boxes and also school fete's etc....
