My first post. Started DMP with CCCS first payment in August, my CCCS statement shows payment to Nationwide and RMA as being paid the agreed amount, but I have had letters from Nationwide and RMA saying that I haven't paid them, and need to contact them within 7 days.
Up until today everything seemed to good to be true, no nasty letters or any phone calls.

Check with CCCS to make sure the payment has gone.
Usually the problem is that the creditor hasn't yet matched up the CCCS payment/reference against your account.
Or that they CCCS payment is later than what the creditor would normally expect if you were paying direct.
Seems to be something that happens frequently when new DMPs are set up, and comes out in the wash after a month or two once the creditors get their systems in order to recognise the CCCS payments.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hi Help111
I agree with fermi, and did experience this myself on my plan with CCCS. The larger companies (Santander, Egg and Barclaycard) were great and I had no hassle. The one DCA I had - Credit Solutions Ltd - were a bit rubbish and kept returning payments and saying they didn't have the right account number etc, but after a couple of months it all straightened out and I've been ticking along fine ever since!
One thing to bear in mind is that whilst you pay CCCS by the1st of the month, they don't pay your creditors until around the 25th or just after. So it's easy for a missed/late payment to slip in there. I've actually just checked my credit report for the first time ever today, with Equifax (free trial!), and annoyingly one of my creditors is showing me as late payments every single month, starting a couple of months after I started my DMP! Still, in the long term, it can't make my report much worse, as it is showing the correct current balance, so I'll let that one slide!
Good luck!
