Web designer Decent and Affordable - suggestions needed?

Does anyone know of a decent web designer/ or has used one in the post, I want to get set up with a decent website, but I dont have the expertise/knowhow to do this myself. I want a wordpress blog, that I can host ads on and link to google

Would be really grateful if any MSers could post any decent suggestions for a reputable and affordable company. Thanks in advance

Really?

The design of the site looks like something from the 1980's along with the websites they have built.

The name the site is registered in is based in Northern Ireland yet the telephone number is based in London.

Also do they still run as their copyright notice hasn't been updated since 2009?

I have sent you a PM. A lot of people I know who have on-line businesses have used Templedene Consultants who are based in Leeds.

I've used Templedene in the past and am in the process of using them again now. I can honestly say I've been more than impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and patience! Really brilliant!

Templedene seem very expensive for what they offer. The packages they offer don't really offer that much.

£600 for a bespoke designed site on a CMS is about the right price for a professional outfit rather than a kid in their bedroom or an offshore provider

Not for 100mb webspace AND email.

I was more concerned by their Business Professional Content Management Web Site for £6k a year!!!!!

Have you looked into their CMS packages? It's the easiest to use that I have come across as well.
I also know that if you contact them then you do actually get to speak/have contact with a "real person" who actually knows their stuff and what they are talking about rather than automated systems or just being referred to a FAQ which doesn't hold the answer to your question anyway... or is it just me who hates that?
