But I thought you thought all rulings and contracts made by anyone in financial circles was wrong and should be challenged as a matter of course.

You like rulings when they agree with you, do you? Or do you agree with rulings you like?

I'll take that as no, you aren't aware of the FOS.

You can take it however you like, but please do it in private. :)

Well hopefully the op will take the complaint further, and get a refund, I'll leave the rest of the thread to you, but, you keep paying, remember, you personally have to, you signed the contract.

Damn why didnt i think of all this, I want a refund for the 13 years+ I have been a member and not called them out.

What about my car insurance, Can i claim 20 odd years back from them as well because i never used their services.

MOT refund, Obviously they are wasting my time and their time as my car always passes.

Free pint to anyone that helps me reclaim all this and possibly more.

The RAC sell vehicle based cover as the cheaper option, which can't be used on any other vehicle. (So if you sell your car, and they don't want to transfer cover to your new one, you've lost it)

There is nothing in the ts + cs allowing them to choose not to transfer cover for vehicle based cover!

The idea of vehicle based cover is that you register the vehicle(s) you want covered, then anyone driving them is covered.

If you change vehicle(s) you (obviously) have to let them know.

They happily let you do this!

It's a courtesy, if they choose to do it.
There is no obligation for them to do so.
